A bunch of goals that I intend to chip away at when I have the time.

Computer Science

Finish Raw Skills Game: TODO. The name for this might change when I’m finished. Check it out at Raw Skills Game.

• Update 2026-01-08: I am planning on releasing a client side version first. Multiplayer and leaderboards will require a cheating/botting detection system on the server side which will probably take a substantial amount of work from then on, but that is the end goal.

Finish Competitive Programmer’s Handbook by Antti Laaksonen: TODO. It’s been so long since I’ve done competitive programming so this should be a nice quick refresher.

Math

Finish Calculus 4th Edition by Michael Spivak: TODO. I’ve only taken a single calculus course and that was during my first year of university so I forgot a bunch. So far, some of the exercises are pretty interesting but there are so many that I don’t think I’ll be able to finish even half of them so I’ll probably just focus on the starred ones.

Languages

Pass JLPT N1: TODO. I believe that this is pretty doable this year if I sign up for the December timeslot. I just need to concentrate on specialized/niche grammar constructs.

Piano

Relearn Liebestraum No. 3 and Ballade 1: TODO.
